ONLINE DATABASES

 

EBSCO DATABASES --  Student Research Center, Literary Reference Center, Points of View Reference Center.

 

GALE DATABASES:  Global Issues in Context and Grizmek's Animal Life.  For a limited time we have access to Gale's Literature Resource Center. 

                            

 

 

DATABASES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE THOUSAND OAKS PUBLIC LIBRARY --  Access to additional databases.  You need a library card number from the library in order to access the databases.

 

INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DIGITAL LIBRARY -- Full Text Children's books from around the world.  Looking for a children's book for Speech class or want to read one in a foreign language?  Check out this digital library.

 

WORLD DIGITAL LIBRARY -- "The WDL makes it possible to discover, study, and enjoy cultural treasures from around the world on one site, in a variety of ways. These cultural treasures include, but are not limited to, manuscripts, maps, rare books, musical scores, recordings, films, prints, photographs, and architectural drawings."

 

INTERNET SEARCH ENGINES

 

NETTREKKER D.I. -- Internet Search engine.  Search for information from sites that have been evaluated for accuracy.

 

CLUSTY -- Groups similar search results into clusters.
